Amir Qamar
Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors
After installing the Amazon region’s first wireless backbone in 2016 while building www.wi2be.com into a leading wireless solution provider in Brazil, Mr. Qamar founded Global Impact Communications Inc in December 2020. Prior to entering Brazil in 2010, Mr. Qamar ran a team of more than 100 Tsinghua University professors which commercialized new wireless possibilities at Beijing Skyway Technologies. The opportunity to work with top Chinese talent was made possible by 10 years spent in San Francisco as a corporate finance managing director for CIBC/Oppenheimer where he advised on some of the world’s most unique deals in wireless and communication technology. Mr. Qamar had by then spent seven years in Singapore and Asia managing South Asian sales with Aviat Networks and as a GSM RF engineer for Millicom.
Andy Kaye

Mr. Kaye is President and Chief Institutional Officer of OurCrowd, a $1.9 billion crowdfunding platform. Prior to joining OurCrowd, Andy spent over 21 years in finance with world leading hi-tech and growth companies. His experience includes seven years at Robertson Stephens where he was CEO and head of the firm’s Israel practice and two European industry groups. Mr. Kaye also spent four years as regional head of CIBCWM’s investment banking operations and five years in China as Head of Asia for William Blair, followed by two years in London as Managing Director of EMEA Tech. Throughout his career Andy has excelled in establishing and expanding operations in new and existing markets, developing them to become significant players and industry leaders.
Josh Schein

Josh Schein is CEO of Global Key Advisors, an RIA in San Francisco serving primarily corporate directors and officers. Josh developed and ran the InsideTrack® investment portfolios at Citi Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley from 1996 through 2014 before bringing the approaches to Global Key.
Josh is active in research on ‘smart money’ with published academic work that includes the first time series analysis on insider trading in a study showing that corporate insiders worsen at acquiring shares while improving at selling and that performance correlates inversely to the frequency of an insider’s trading.
Josh co-founded and serves on the board of Pegasus Power Solutions, a global turnkey solutions provider for customers with large-scale energy needs.
Josh holds a BA summa cum laude from West Virginia University and a JD from the University of Washington where he co-founded the Washington International Law Journal. Josh spent a year of college in India at Banaras Hindu University, a year in Thailand as a research assistant with Yale University studying Asian honeybee foraging energetics, and two years employed in Tokyo between college and law school where he acquired oral and written fluency in Japanese.
Jodi Sherman Jahic

Jodi has been investing in early-stage technology ventures for over 20 years and is a noted wireless technology expert. A meticulous designer of market strategies and a fierce ally of entrepreneurial founders, Jodi is recognized for her thought leadership in go-to-market strategies for early-stage companies.
Prior to co-founding Aligned Partners in 2011, Jodi led the wireless sector for Voyager Capital and was co-founder and Managing Director of SCG, a pledge fund headquartered in San Francisco focusing on capital-efficient investments.
Jodi was selected as a Kauffman Fellow at Battery Ventures, where she sourced and led investments in wireless data and semiconductor process control companies. Previously, Jodi was on the founding team of three startups in North America and Europe, and she worked in the technology industry group at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Jodi graduated magna cum laude from Pomona College with a degree in STS/Physics, and she holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a regular columnist in venture publications and is co-author of a 2007 book on venture capital investing.
Jodi lives in San Francisco with her husband (also a technology executive) and their two teenage daughters. She is the Vice Chairman of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco and serves on the Finance Committee of The Kitchen along with the External Technology Advisory Board of Accenture.
